(Français) Jérôme Brizé

Born in Brittany in September 1974, a few days after Casimir’s debut in the show “L’île aux enfants” on french television, the 24th, which is also the day of birth of the reknowned father of puppets : Jim Henson (creator of the Muppets), Jérôme Brizé is born in the gloubi-boulga generation.

From a very young age the puppets of the small screen fascinated him, at 14 he discovered with star-filled eyes the workshop of Yves Brunier (creator of Casimir) and Alain Duverne (Creator of “Guignols” on Canal+). In his first movies were made with a Super 8 camera bought by his grand-mother, Jérôme invented many stories he shot on Wednesday afternoons. He was also the editor of his high-school news papers.

After studying communication and commercials, Jérôme became an entrepreneur at the age of 23 and created his own company as a communication consultant, but very soon his dream of “working in television” caught up with him. He traveled to Paris, aspiring to become Journalist under Christophe Dechavanne, and then Marc-Olivier Fogiel. His desire to give life to his own project and creating his production company came to its logical conclusion in 2006. Fourteen years later, Moving Puppet has made its mark and found its place amongst the most important animation production companies in France.
